How I screwed up on SaaS Blocks

"The design is not phenomenal I think."

These were the exact words from a friend who I asked to critique SaaS Blocks.

I silently nodded.

It all started with a design system. I had started creating app components for SaaS blocks and later would branch out into marketing blocks.

The problem is, you can't create good looking landing pages or websites block by block, section by section. You have to actually design the full thing first.

"Not phenomenal" is what you get when you try anyway.

I ended up wasting a bunch of time and now have to redesign most of the marketing pages.

Luckily, there aren't many.

Unluckily, there aren't many.
